Well, a year and more has gone by and I'm finally writing a journal. Went to youmacon 2009 a couple weeks ago and I think it was the best one I've been to. Or at least the one where I had the most fun. There were tons of great experiences, but the best hands down was the Team Four Star panel. If you're a fan of Dragonball Z you should be a fan of these guys. Thier DBZ abridged series is absolutely hilarious. It's been a long time since I updated this! Acen in May was fun, and the much more recent Youmacon was a BLAST! The concert alone was totally worth the four hour drive, and by happy happenstance the dear sweet Sada-chan was there as well! Had fun hanging out with John, a totally awesome and very sweet Gaara cosplayer, and hopefully will be able to make it to some of the meet-ups that fellow anime fans have in Chicago. Always nice to have an excuse to go to Chicago. And Chicago + anime peoples = win. Is it sad that life is something that only seems to be interesting at Con? Most probably. Well, it was a funtastic weekend at Ikkicon. The gods of anime must have watched over us, but only with a passing glance, because in the sixteen hour drive down the conditions were not happy. Snowbelt in Missouri didn't help. But we got there safe and sound. Here's the story. It was my friend's birthday on Sunday the fourth and she wanted to go to a con for it.
